About QuotaClock
Why it exists
Rate-limit windows reset on a clock, and the reset is the thing people actually wait for. When that clock is tracked by hand — a note, a mental count, a chat message to yourself — it gets fuzzy exactly when it matters, and a fuzzy answer leads to either wasted waiting or an interrupted session.
QuotaClock does one small thing about that: it holds the window you told it about and counts down to the end of it, in a page you can leave open or come back to.
Who it is for
People who already know which limit they are working inside and want the remaining time visible somewhere — on a second monitor, on a phone next to the keyboard.
What it is not
- It is not an official tool of any AI provider, and it is not a way to get more quota.
- It does not sign in, read usage, read tokens, or talk to a provider’s API.
- It is not a source of truth about reset rules. Those rules are the provider’s to state, and they change.
- It does not store anything on a server, so there is nothing to sync and nothing to leak.
QuotaClock is an independent, non-official tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Anthropic, OpenAI, or any other AI provider. It does not sign in to your accounts, does not read API keys, tokens, or usage data, cannot reset anything for you, and cannot promise that a provider's window rules stay the same. The countdown is built only from the times you type in. Window lengths and reset rules are set by each provider and change over time — always check the provider's own current documentation.
How it is funded
This version has no ads, no accounts, and no paid tier. If that changes, the privacy page will be updated before anything is switched on.
